Terms & Conditions — Eventloc8

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Eventloc8 (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & account registration

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. Platform purpose

Eventloc8 is an event discovery and listing platform. We help visitors find events and help organisers publish them. Unless we explicitly state otherwise on a specific listing, Eventloc8 is not the organiser, promoter, seller or host of the events shown on the Platform, and is not a party to any transaction between visitors, exhibitors and organisers.

4. Visitor responsibilities

Provide accurate contact details when you RSVP or register.
Use your digital passport, QR codes and RSVP records for personal use only.
Verify critical event details (date, venue, pricing, entry rules) with the organiser before travelling or purchasing.

5. Organiser responsibilities

Only list events you are authorised to promote.
Keep event details accurate and up to date; promptly reflect cancellations or postponements.
Respond to visitor and exhibitor communications in a reasonable time.
Comply with all applicable laws, licences and venue rules.

6. Event listings & accuracy

Listings — including those curated from third-party sources — are provided for informational purposes. We take reasonable steps to review listings but do not warrant that any event will take place as described. Curated listings from partner sites are clearly labelled, and the associated ticketing or RSVP is handled on the partner's site under their terms.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to (a) upload unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content; (b) attempt to breach the Platform's security or scrape data at scale; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) use the Platform for spam or unsolicited marketing; or (e) interfere with other users' use of the Platform.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform's design, code, brand and content (other than user content) are owned by or licensed to Eventloc8. You retain ownership of content you upload (event posters, descriptions, logos). By uploading, you grant Eventloc8 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Platform.

9. Third-party services & links

The Platform may link to or embed content from third-party services (ticketing partners, maps, analytics, payment providers). Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of those services; Eventloc8 is not responsible for their content or availability.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any event listed will occur as described.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventloc8 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or any event listed on it.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Eventloc8, its team and its partners harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these terms.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users, at our discretion, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material updates will be highlighted on the Platform. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Eventloc8 operates. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
